Meet Mary Corrado
About Me
I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon where I continue to reside today. I have always had a love of design and including UofO, I was fortunate enough to study at California College of Art and graduate from Pacific Northwest College of Art with a BFA in Graphic Design. Interior decorating and design, I later discovered, was my true passion. My love of antiques and all that is beautiful has brought me to my newest adventure of custom painting furniture. I believe that a home and its furnishings should be a reflection of its owner's personality and style.

Inspiration
At Mary Corrado Designs, I draw inspiration from old world finishes used in Italy and France for centuries. I have learned many techniques, from the oldest, chippiest finishes to the sleekest and most modern. I have had the incredible privilege of studying under, and being mentored by, one of the world’s leading decorative artists.
Craftsmanship
I am passionate about craftsmanship and quality. I use only the finest paints and finishes, including pigments from the quarries of France! These are pure, natural materials safe for children and pets. (non-VOC) I believe that my attention to detail and the quality of my work are what set my pieces apart.
Sustainability
I am committed to sustainability and reducing our impact on the environment. Furniture is being dumped by the tons every year. I can help you breathe new life into an old or outdated piece destined for the trash. I believe that beautiful design and sustainability can go hand in hand.
